Horizon Family Brands, the growing portfolio behind the organic staples Horizon Organic and Wallaby Organic yogurt, is making a monumental commitment to accelerated growth with the appointment of Andrew Springate as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Bringing more than 25 years of experience in building and scaling some of the beverage industry's most recognizable consumer brands, Springate is poised to drive the next wave of innovation in the organic dairy space.
The hire is strategic, signaling the company’s intent to leverage deep consumer insights and modern marketing activation to solidify its leadership position.
The Architect of Iconic Growth
Andrew Springate joins Horizon Family Brands with a powerful résumé demonstrating a transformative approach to consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing. His most recent tenure was an eight-year run as CMO at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), where he oversaw the brand strategy and marketing activation for more than 125 brands, generating over $14 billion in sales.
Crucially, his leadership propelled Dr Pepper to become the second-largest soft drink brand in the U.S., a milestone achieved through insightful growth planning, breakthrough product innovation, and highly engaging integrated campaigns. This success earned him recognition as an Ad Age Marketer of the Year and a spot on Campaign’s "CMO 50" list for 2024.

In his new role, Springate will assume leadership over Horizon Family Brands' core growth engine, overseeing marketing, innovation, consumer insights & analytics, and research & development. He will also partner closely with the sales team to ensure marketing strategy is perfectly aligned with go-to-market execution.
