Beer Brand Grows Distribution, Launches Online Shipping, and Appoints Zech Francis to Advisory Board.

Laguna Beach-based Beer Girl is building momentum in the better-for-you beer category with multi-state expansion, nationwide online shipping, and the addition of beverage industry veteran Zech Francis to its advisory board. The low-ABV beer brand is expanding from its California and Arizona base into Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida, with additional states planned throughout 2026.

Strategic Market Entry Through Key Distributors

Beginning March 1, 2026, Beer Girl will partner with leading distributors across major markets: Andrews Distributing in Dallas-Fort Worth, Lipman Brothers in Tennessee, Caffey & Carolina Premium Beverage in North Carolina, and four Florida distributors, Pepin Distributing Co., Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, Great Bay Distributors, and The Lewis Bear Co.

"We're incredibly excited to welcome Beer Girl to the Andrews portfolio," said David Holt, EVP of Strategic Partnerships at Andrews Distributing. "Beer Girl truly brings a new, fresh energy to the 'lifestyle' beer category that is only elevated by their fun and eye-catching branding, focused marketing and strategic vision for the consumers they aim to attract."

The expansion reflects a disciplined, market-by-market growth strategy that prioritizes strong distributor partnerships and on-premise visibility as the brand builds national awareness. In addition to new market expansion, Beer Girl is launching nationwide online shipping in mid-March, opening direct access to consumers across the country.

Product Positioning in Growing Category

Beer Girl's lagers are low-ABV at 3.5%, zero sugar, gluten-reduced, and brewed with corn instead of wheat. The brand was created by co-founder Caroline Foulk, who drew from her experience running her family brewery and navigating an autoimmune condition to develop a beer for those who want the experience without feeling heavy or bloated.

"This multi-state expansion marks a major milestone for Beer Girl," said Caroline Foulk. "We're excited to bring our lighter, low-ABV, gluten-reduced beer to a much wider audience as demand grows for more balanced options."

The better-for-you beer category has seen growing consumer interest as drinkers seek alternatives that fit active lifestyles and health-conscious choices. Beer Girl positions itself within this segment by maintaining beer's flavor profile while reducing alcohol content and eliminating added sugar.

National Account Strategy

To support the rollout, Beer Girl has partnered with Countermeasures (CMC) to drive growth in targeted U.S. markets and expand presence across key national accounts. CMC will help coordinate Beer Girl's expansion strategy and build relationships with major retail and on-premise partners.

"The team at Beer Girl has done an exceptional job addressing a clear gap in the gluten-reduced segment with a high-quality product designed to resonate with a broad audience," said Austin Sawyer, CEO of Countermeasures. "This brand is about to make waves across the beverage category, and we couldn't be more excited to partner with them on this next phase of growth."

Strategic Advisory Board Addition

As Beer Girl enters its next growth phase, the brand has appointed Zech Francis to its advisory board. Francis is a consumer goods entrepreneur and investor who was named to Ad Age's 40 Under 40 class of 2025. He most recently served as SVP of Global Marketing at BeatBox, where he helped scale the brand from early traction to more than $250 million in annual revenue through brand development, partnerships, and go-to-market leadership.

"Beer Girl is building real momentum by authentically speaking to a consumer the beer industry has long overlooked," said Francis. "We're seeing strong early traction at retail, and Caroline and Griffin are the kind of founders who can turn that energy into a scalable, lasting brand."

Francis noted that Beer Girl addresses pain points for distributors and retailers by bringing new consumers into the beer category and driving incremental growth, critical factors as the beer industry faces broader category challenges.

Founder Background and Brand Origin

Beer Girl launched distribution in 2024, founded by Caroline Foulk alongside her husband Griffin Foulk. The brand was first brewed in 2023 at Caroline's family brewery in Laguna Beach. The development process focused on creating a beer that delivers flavor without the heaviness often associated with traditional beer.

The use of corn instead of wheat in the brewing process contributes to the gluten-reduced profile, while the lower alcohol content at 3.5% ABV positions the product for sessionability and occasions where drinkers want multiple servings without high alcohol intake.

Distribution Timeline and Future Plans

Current availability includes select retail and on-premise accounts across California and Arizona. The March 1 expansion into Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida represents significant geographic growth, with additional state launches expected throughout 2026 and beyond.

The mid-March launch of nationwide online shipping will complement traditional distribution channels, allowing Beer Girl to reach consumers in markets where retail distribution has not yet launched while building brand awareness ahead of future expansion.

Beer Girl's growth strategy emphasizes building strong relationships with distributors and retailers while maintaining brand visibility through on-premise placements where consumers can trial the product. This approach aims to establish market presence before pursuing broader retail expansion in each new territory.
