XGIMI announces the launch of a new AI hardware brand, MemoMind, which will unveil its first suite of customizable AI glasses.

For over a decade, XGIMI has been a leader in transforming walls into cinematic experiences through high-end projection. But at CES 2026, the company is making a bold pivot: instead of changing what we see on the screen, they are changing how we see the world.

XGIMI has officially announced the launch of its new AI hardware brand, MemoMind, along with its first suite of customizable AI glasses. The move signals a shift from "projection to perception," leveraging XGIMI’s optical mastery to create a wearable that feels less like a gadget and more like a natural extension of the human experience.

The "Everyday-First" Philosophy

Unlike many smart glasses that suffer from bulky frames or intrusive displays, MemoMind is designed to disappear into daily life. The first-generation products prioritize three things: all-day comfort, modular style, and AI that works quietly in the background.

“Glasses are the most natural, lowest-friction form factor for intelligence,” said Apollo Zhong, XGIMI Founder and lead investor of MemoMind. “We didn't choose AI glasses, this is simply the form that makes the most sense for delivering real, everyday intelligence.”

Customizable and Ultralight

MemoMind is launching with a focus on personalization, offering eight frame styles and five interchangeable temple designs, alongside full prescription-lens support.

The technical specs are equally impressive. The Memo Air Display model weighs just 28.9 grams, making it one of the lightest AI wearables on the market. With a full-day battery and a charging case that extends use for up to a week, it’s built for the marathon of a modern workday.

A Hybrid Brain in Your Frames

Under the hood, MemoMind runs on a multi-LLM hybrid operating system. This allows the glasses to automatically toggle between the most suitable AI models, including OpenAI, Azure, and Qwen, depending on the task.

Whether it's real-time translation, meeting summarization, or contextual reminders, the AI is designed to be "brief and relevant," providing support only when the user needs it.

The Launch Lineup

At launch, MemoMind will feature two primary models:

  1. Memo One: The flagship model, featuring integrated speakers and a dual-eye display for a full visual and audio AI experience.

  2. Memo Air Display: A minimalist version with a single-eye (monocular) display that provides essential data while maintaining the aesthetic balance of traditional eyewear.

Availability

Showcased this week at the Venetian Expo and Pepcom, MemoMind is preparing for pre-orders soon. The Memo One is expected to retail at approximately $599, positioning it as a premium yet accessible choice for the early-adopter professional.

As XGIMI moves beyond the screen, they aren't just selling a new device; they are inviting us to think with our technology, rather than managing it.
