Dole Food Company has announced a massive, multi-phase global partnership with Minecraft, the world’s most popular video game, to launch the “Make the World a Healthier Place” campaign. This ambitious initiative aims to inspire healthier lifestyles for gamers, kids, and families through interactive play, fruit-fueled fun, and accessible education.
Running from October 2025 through March 2026, the campaign is groundbreaking for Dole, marking the first time the company has debuted a marketing effort simultaneously across both North America (USA, Canada) and Europe (Germany, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands). At its heart is a simple, shared vision: empowering all generations to build better, healthier habits.
Fuel Your Play: From Bananas to Block Hoodies
The partnership leverages the universal appeal of Minecraft to connect the fun of gaming with the functional necessity of nutrition. The entire campaign is centered on the idea that nutritious foods provide the energy required for daily performance, whether you're building a massive castle in-game or running around in real life (IRL).
The centerpiece of the campaign is an exclusive in-game Minecraft Character Creator Item: a Dole Banana Hoodie. Players can unlock this item for their avatar by visiting the dedicated landing page at Dole.com/minecraft and digitally uploading an image of a DOLE® Banana sticker or DOLE® Pineapple tag. This clever mechanic creates a direct link between grabbing a healthy snack and leveling up their digital identity.
To support the physical experience, Dole is releasing two waves of limited-edition stickers and a pineapple tag featuring fan-favorite Minecraft characters. The first wave includes icons like Steve, Alex, the Creeper, and the Enderman, while the second wave, launching in mid-December, will introduce the Sheep, Bee, and Wolf.
