Eco-Products Enhances Sustainable Packaging Offerings with New Cup Collection

Eco-Products introduces sustainable drinkware portfolio with new recyclable, compostable and reusable solutions.
Eco‑Products has announced a major expansion of its sustainable drinkware portfolio, introducing a new lineup of compostable, recyclable, and reusable cups designed to help foodservice operators reduce waste across a wide range of environments. The launch includes redesigned World Art™ hot cups made with FSC‑certified paperboard, new BlueStripe™ aluminum cold cups made with 90% recycled content, and additions to the company’s Veda™ reusable drinkware line.
This expanded offering reflects Eco‑Products’ belief that sustainability requires flexibility. As General Manager Wendell Simonson notes, there is no single solution that works for every operation, compostable, recyclable, and reusable systems often need to coexist depending on local infrastructure, customer behavior, and operational needs. The company’s goal is to give operators choice across all three approaches, enabling them to build waste‑diversion programs that fit their unique circumstances.
Redesigned World Art™ Hot Cups Made with FSC‑Certified Paperboard
Eco‑Products has refreshed its long‑standing World Art™ hot cup line, one of the first compostable hot cup options in the U.S., with a new design and a full transition to FSC‑certified paperboard.
The FSC certification ensures that the paperboard comes from responsibly managed forests and includes a mix of certified, recycled, and controlled materials. Operators can also add the FSC logo to custom‑printed products at no additional cost, strengthening their sustainability messaging.
This redesign reinforces Eco‑Products’ commitment to compostable packaging that aligns with evolving labeling standards and supports contamination‑free composting streams.
New BlueStripe™ Aluminum Cold Cups Made with 90% Recycled Content
The company is also launching a new family of BlueStripe™ aluminum cold cups, available in 12‑, 16‑, 20‑, and 24‑ounce sizes. Made with 90% recycled aluminum sourced from both post‑industrial and post‑consumer materials, these cups are fully recyclable, just like aluminum cans.
Aluminum remains one of the most valuable materials in recycling systems because it can be recycled repeatedly without losing quality, and producing aluminum from recycled content requires significantly less energy than using virgin material. This makes the new BlueStripe cups a strong option for operators looking to reduce environmental impact while maintaining durability and performance.
Expanded Veda™ Reusable Drinkware for Closed‑System Environments
Eco‑Products is also expanding its Veda™ reusable drinkware line, designed for closed‑loop environments such as universities, corporate campuses, military bases, and hospitals.
These reusable cups and lids support operators who are exploring reuse systems as part of their sustainability strategy, especially in settings where collection, washing, and redistribution can be managed efficiently. The expansion gives operators more options to reduce single‑use waste while maintaining convenience and operational flow.
A Flexible, Multi‑Path Approach to Waste Reduction
Eco‑Products’ new lineup underscores a key insight: sustainability isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all. Compostable, recyclable, and reusable products each play a role depending on local infrastructure and operational realities. By offering strong solutions across all three categories, Eco‑Products is helping foodservice operators build waste‑diversion programs that are practical, scalable, and tailored to their needs.
As Simonson explains, the company’s mission is to support operators in keeping packaging out of landfills, and this expanded product line gives them more tools than ever to do exactly that.
