Eddie Bauer Adventure Club owners have a new way to plan outdoor getaways. Travel + Leisure Co. has announced Trail Partners, a hospitality network that allows owners to use club credits for eligible partner stays and excursion add-ons. Under Canvas is the first announced partner, bringing its 18-property portfolio into the club’s travel offering.
The expansion broadens the club’s accommodation choices while keeping outdoor experiences at the center of its approach. For owners, the practical question is how those choices translate into a trip that fits their interests, schedule and available credits.
How Trail Partners Fits Into the Club
Eddie Bauer Adventure Club combines dedicated properties, called Basecamps, with access to partner destinations. Its first Basecamp opened in Moab, Utah, earlier this year. Trail Partners adds another route for using ownership credits beyond those dedicated locations.
These two accommodation categories give owners different starting points for planning. Someone interested in a club property can explore a Basecamp, while another traveler may prefer a partner stay near a particular landscape. Comparing both options could help owners choose accommodation around the experience they want, rather than beginning with a single property.
Under Canvas Brings Comfortable Outdoor Stays
Under Canvas offers safari-inspired accommodations with features such as king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms and wood-burning stoves. The announcement highlights destinations including Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, the Great Smoky Mountains and the Columbia River Gorge.
For travelers considering this style of accommodation, the appeal is the combination of a nature-oriented setting and familiar comforts. However, choosing an outdoor stay still requires practical planning. Travelers should consider their preferred activities, transportation needs and the specific accommodation available before deciding which destination best suits their trip.
The release also mentions Santa Fe, with that location identified as coming in 2027. Owners should distinguish future additions from properties available for their intended travel dates.
How Owners Can Explore Available Trips
Owners access Trail Partner stays through the club’s dedicated travel agency, which helps them review destinations, check availability and apply credits toward eligible bookings.
That makes the agency an important first stop for understanding the new offering. Before arranging transportation or building an itinerary, owners should ask how many credits their preferred stay requires, which excursion add-ons qualify and whether additional charges apply. The announcement does not provide those booking details or cancellation terms.
Membership Benefits Beyond Accommodation
Other announced owner benefits include 50% off regularly priced Eddie Bauer apparel and gear online, automatic Guide-Tier rewards status, and one complimentary annual excursion for two.
These benefits cover different parts of a getaway, from preparing for an outing to participating in an experience. Owners evaluating their membership should consider which benefits they expect to use, alongside accommodation availability.
What the Expansion Means for Travelers
Trail Partners gives owners more possibilities to investigate. Its value will depend on how well participating destinations match their travel preferences and booking needs. For now, the clearest next step is to explore specific options with the travel agency and confirm the terms before making plans.
