GolfSuites Pivots to Indoor Simulator Lounges for Nationwide Growth
HOSPITALITYENTERTAINMENT

GolfSuites, an innovative leader in golf entertainment, announced a major strategic shift in its short and mid-term development and franchising strategy.
The golf entertainment industry is undergoing a tactical retreat from massive outdoor footprints toward a more efficient, profitable, and weather-proof model. GolfSuites, a recognized leader in innovative golf entertainment, today announced a major strategic pivot, shifting its primary focus and significant capital investment to its highly scalable Indoor Simulator Lounge venue.
This move is designed to unlock year-round growth and accelerate franchise expansion potential across the entire country, regardless of climate or season. The new Indoor Simulator Lounge model dramatically reduces the complex challenges and high costs associated with traditional outdoor driving-range venues.
The Economics of Indoor Entertainment
The original golf entertainment model, reliant on large outdoor driving ranges, requires significant real estate, long construction timelines, and, most critically, is entirely dependent on favorable weather. GolfSuites’ strategic shift directly addresses these limitations by focusing on a concept that delivers a premium experience with superior financial predictability.
Chairman of GolfSuites, Gerald Ellenburg, highlighted the rationale behind the pivot: “This pivot reflects our commitment to delivering the strongest possible return for our investors and future franchise partners. The Indoor Simulator Lounge combines the fun and social atmosphere guests love with economics that simply work better in today's market—and it works everywhere.”
The key advantages of the Indoor Simulator Lounge model include:
Consistent Revenue: Revenue streams are entirely unaffected by cold weather, rain, or harsh climate variations, guaranteeing 365 days of operation.
Faster Scalability: The model boasts a significantly faster build-out and speed-to-market compared to traditional outdoor facilities.
Lower Costs: It requires significantly lower development and ongoing operating expenses.
Prioritizing Widespread Franchising
GolfSuites is actively preparing its Indoor Simulator Lounge for widespread franchising and has already engaged a top national consulting firm to accelerate the national rollout. The company is currently working to file its Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and aims to entertain franchise applications in the coming months, signaling aggressive growth plans.
While the Indoor Simulator Lounge will be the primary focus, GolfSuites will continue selective development of its popular outdoor driving range entertainment centers in highly targeted, weather-favorable markets. These future outdoor projects will utilize a streamlined 28- to 40-bay "Express" format, building on the success of existing locations in Lubbock, Texas, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
By embracing this weather-immune model, GolfSuites is ensuring that its innovative blend of cutting-edge technology, exceptional food and beverage, and welcoming social atmosphere can reach more communities, faster, while providing strong, predictable performance for its partners. The future of golf entertainment is officially moving indoors.
