How 10 Minutes a Day is Changing the Fitness Game
HEALTH & BEAUTY

New subscription offering with more than 400 10-minute workouts aims to empower people of all fitness levels to boost energy, build strength, and improve long-term health.
We’re told that if we aren’t spending an hour at the gym or crushing a high-intensity boot camp, it "doesn't count." But for the millions of people who are busy, intimidated, or physically exhausted, that barrier to entry is simply too high.
Enter BODi (formerly Beachbody). The at-home fitness pioneer has officially launched “10 Minute BODi,” a breakthrough subscription service rooted in the science of Microdose Fitness. The goal? To prove that real, measurable health results don't require a lifestyle overhaul, they just require ten minutes.
The Science Behind the Microdose
The concept of "Microdose Fitness" isn't just a marketing buzzword; it’s backed by significant medical research. Recent studies published in journals like JAMA Internal Medicine suggest that adding just 10 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous daily activity can lead to a measurable increase in longevity and a decrease in cardiovascular risk.
“The world doesn’t need more guilt about not exercising. What it needs is a realistic solution based on the latest science,” said Carl Daikeler, co-founder and CEO of BODi. “Microdose Fitness is the answer to the time problem, the intimidation, and the inconvenience of the conventional fitness industry.”
A Library Built for Consistency
At the heart of the new subscription is a curated collection of more than 400 ten-minute workouts. To help users build a lasting habit, BODi has organized these into four flagship programs, each following a structured four-week cycle:
10-Minute Beginner: Led by Lacee Green, this joint-friendly program focuses on building confidence and "early wins" for those new to movement.
10-Minute Muscle: Led by Scott Mathison, this program provides a daily dose of resistance training to protect mobility and bone health.
Additional Focuses: The library also includes high-intensity bursts (600 Seconds), yoga, pilates, mobility, and even Tony Horton’s legendary "10-Minute Trainer".
Lowering the Barrier to Entry
Perhaps the most significant shift is the price point. While the full BODi library (featuring over 8,000 workouts) remains available for $19 a month, the 10 Minute BODi subscription is offered at just $10 a month.
By stripping away the complexity and the "perfection-driven" expectations of traditional workouts, BODi is aiming to reach the millions of people who currently don't exercise at all. The program emphasizes that consistency, even in small doses, is the true "minimum effective dose" for long-term health.
As the fitness landscape shifts toward longevity and accessible wellness, 10 Minute BODi is positioning itself as the "front door" for anyone looking to reclaim their health, ten minutes at a time.
