Jackery Launches SolarVault 3 Series for Modular Home Solar Storage
TECHNOLOGY

Jackery expands its home energy portfolio with the SolarVault 3 Series modular solar storage system.
Jackery has expanded its home energy portfolio with the SolarVault 3 Series, a new generation of modular all-in-one solar storage systems. The lineup includes SolarVault 3 Pro, SolarVault 3 Pro Max, and SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC, covering applications from 600 W plug-in solar systems to larger residential PV installations.
Scalable Storage with High PV Performance
The SolarVault 3 Series combines integrated inverter and LiFePO₄ battery technology with high PV performance and intelligent energy management. SolarVault 3 Pro supports up to 4,000 W of PV input and features four independent MPPT trackers, enabling optimized performance even with different module orientations or partial shading.
The modular system starts at 2.52 kWh and can be expanded to 15.12 kWh to meet increasing household energy needs. This scalability allows homeowners to start with a smaller system and add capacity as energy requirements grow.
The Pro version delivers up to 1,200 W of grid output, adjustable to 600 W for Dutch plug-in solar compliance. The Pro Max provides up to 2,500 W for higher demand applications. An integrated bypass function allows high-power appliances to operate directly from the grid, and during power outages, the system switches to backup mode within milliseconds.
AC Coupling for Existing PV Systems
The SolarVault 3 Series enables seamless retrofit into existing PV installations without replacing modules or inverters. SolarVault 3 Pro supports 1,200 W AC coupling, while SolarVault 3 Pro Max increases AC coupling capacity to up to 2,500 W.
This design allows higher levels of surplus solar energy to be stored via the household grid. Excess solar power can be automatically captured and stored, increasing self-consumption without modifying the existing system.
The SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC model is configured as a dedicated storage-only solution without PV input. It also supports up to 2,500 W output power and AC coupling, offering flexible expansion for residential PV setups.
AI-Powered Tariff Optimization
At the core of the system is AI-based energy management that analyzes solar generation, consumption, battery status, and dynamic electricity tariffs in real time. Through integration with platforms such as Nordpool, Tibber, and Rabot, the system charges during low-price periods and discharges during peak tariffs to optimize energy costs.
This intelligent management helps homeowners reduce electricity bills by automatically responding to time-of-use pricing structures. The system learns usage patterns and adjusts charging and discharging cycles accordingly.
Safety and Durability Features
Safety and durability are ensured through LFP battery cells and comprehensive protection mechanisms. The system includes terminal temperature monitoring, aerosol fire suppression, and IP65-rated housing for operation from -20 °C to 55 °C.
The plug-and-play design enables quick installation without extensive electrical work. The Jackery app provides real-time monitoring and energy optimization features, allowing homeowners to track system performance and adjust settings remotely.
Market Availability and Trade Fair Debut
The SolarVault 3 series will start pre-sale from March 25 in the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Jackery will showcase the system at Solar Solutions Amsterdam from March 10–12 and at Open Energies in Lyon from March 10–11.
These trade fair appearances offer potential customers and industry professionals the opportunity to experience the system firsthand and learn about installation and integration options.
Product Lineup Overview
The three-model lineup addresses different residential energy scenarios. SolarVault 3 Pro serves as the entry-level option for plug-in solar systems and smaller residential installations. SolarVault 3 Pro Max targets higher-demand households requiring greater output capacity and storage.
SolarVault 3 Pro Max AC provides a storage-only solution for homeowners with existing PV systems who want to add battery capacity without replacing current equipment. All models share the same modular battery architecture, allowing for consistent expansion paths.
Technical Specifications
All models in the SolarVault 3 Series use LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) battery technology, known for longer cycle life and enhanced safety compared to other lithium-ion chemistries. The four independent MPPT trackers maximize energy harvest from solar panels installed on different roof orientations or experiencing varying shading conditions throughout the day.
The IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and water jets, making the system suitable for outdoor installation in various climates. The wide operating temperature range from -20 °C to 55 °C supports deployment in both cold and hot environments.
Energy Management Integration
Integration with dynamic electricity tariff platforms represents a key differentiator for the SolarVault 3 Series. By connecting with Nordpool, Tibber, and Rabot, the system accesses real-time pricing data and automatically adjusts charging and discharging schedules.
This capability becomes increasingly valuable as more utilities adopt time-of-use pricing structures and as renewable energy penetration increases grid electricity price volatility.
