The frustrating reality of waiting in a long line just to get into a venue or buy a drink is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. LineLeap, the platform dedicated to transforming how people experience nightlife, venues, and brands, has announced the successful close of a new funding round that values the company at a staggering $200 million.
This massive injection of capital, bringing the total capital raised to over $30 million, is a direct result of LineLeap’s explosive growth, which saw it surge to the top of the U.S. App Store charts this fall. The new funding will be used to significantly accelerate the company’s expansion and enhance its product offerings across the country.
From Campus Problem to Category Leader
The company’s origins are surprisingly humble. Founded in 2017 by Patrick Skelly, Nick Becker, and Max Schauff, LineLeap began as a scrappy solution to a common college problem: massive lines at popular bars.
That simple idea has since evolved into a category-defining platform that powers over 700 venues across 150+ cities and campuses and serves a growing community of more than 1.5 million users.
“We started LineLeap to solve a problem we experienced firsthand, and it has since grown into a nationwide platform that elevates how venues and brands operate,” said Patrick Skelly, Co-Founder & CEO of LineLeap. “This milestone is only possible because of the incredible support from our partnered venues, brands, and users. We are just getting started, and we could not be more excited for what we will accomplish together!”
A Win-Win for Venues and VIPS
LineLeap’s success is built on providing dual value: making the night easier for the customer while generating new revenue streams for the venues.
For Users: The mobile app is the ultimate digital shortcut, enabling users to:
Skip long entry lines.
Pay for cover charges.
Buy event tickets.
Access exclusive offers at top bars and venues nationwide.
For Venues: The platform provides a proprietary CRM that helps venues market, segment, and communicate directly with their customers like never before. It generates entirely new revenue streams by monetizing the queue, transforming what was once lost time into found revenue.
Even artists and industry leaders are investing in the vision. Alex Pall of The Chainsmokers, an investor in LineLeap, shared his enthusiasm: “Having spent more time than most people between venues, clubs, bars, and restaurants, we saw an incredible opportunity to marry technology with the hospitality industry in a way that serves both venues and customers.”
With its new $200 million valuation, LineLeap is focused on its mission: helping people get to the fun, faster, while building the technology that will permanently redefine how the entire hospitality and entertainment industry operates.
