McCollum Family Vineyard has officially opened its estate property to guests, launching its first on-site hospitality experience at the family's sprawling vineyard in Carlton, Oregon. The new offering invites visitors to enjoy the winery's estate-grown wines in the very place where they are cultivated, creating a deeper connection between guests, the land, and the winemaking process.

Owned by NBA-Star CJ and wife Elise McCollum, the vineyard sits on a 318-acre estate in Oregon's renowned Willamette Valley. Available by appointment from Thursday through Sunday, the experience marks a significant milestone for the winery as it expands beyond wine production into hospitality.

Transforming a Historic Property Into a Thriving Vineyard

The estate's story began in 2021, when the McCollums purchased the property and embarked on an ambitious transformation. Once a Christmas tree farm and grazing land for cattle and horses, the site has since been reimagined as a premium wine-growing destination.

Today, the property includes 56 acres planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the grape varieties used to produce the vineyard's estate wines. The project reflects the owners' focus on thoughtful farming practices, long-term sustainability, and stewardship of the land.

The evolution of the estate was driven not only by a desire to produce exceptional wines but also by a vision to create a welcoming destination where visitors can gather and enjoy meaningful experiences.

An Intimate Wine-Tasting Experience

The new hospitality program offers guests a relaxed introduction to McCollum Family Vineyard's portfolio, including its Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Blanc de Blancs.

One of the most distinctive features of the experience is a polished vintage Airstream that serves as the outdoor tasting bar and hospitality hub. Nestled beneath the estate's oak trees, the setting allows visitors to take in panoramic vineyard views while sampling wines.

Guests can enjoy a flight of four current-release wines for $30 per person, or purchase wines by the glass or bottle. The tasting can be complemented by charcuterie-style bites from Good Company Cheese Shop, available for purchase on-site.

Creating Connections Through Wine

For the McCollums, wine has always been about more than what's in the glass. The winery's philosophy centers on bringing people together and creating authentic experiences rooted in hospitality.

Opening the estate to visitors allows the family to share not only their wines but also the story behind them. Guests can experience firsthand the landscape, craftsmanship, and values that shape every bottle produced at the vineyard.

New Destination in Oregon Wine Country

With the launch of its first hospitality experience, McCollum Family Vineyard is adding a new dimension to its presence in the Willamette Valley. The estate combines wine, hospitality, and natural beauty in a setting designed to encourage relaxation and connection.

The opening represents the culmination of years of planning and investment, transforming a 318-acre property into both a thriving vineyard and a destination for wine lovers. As guests begin visiting the estate, McCollum Family Vineyard is poised to become a notable stop in Oregon's growing wine tourism landscape.
