Mobvoi and Olares Debut World’s First Hybrid-Cloud AI Earbuds
TECHNOLOGY

Mobvoi, a global leader in AI interaction and hardware, and Olares, the innovator behind the Personal AI Cloud, today announced a partnership designed to redefine the modern workflow.
The modern workplace, information is everywhere, but capturing it accurately remains a challenge. Whether you're in a high-stakes boardroom or a crowded lecture hall, the fear of missing a critical detail is real.
To solve this, Mobvoi, a leader in AI hardware, and Olares, an innovator in personal AI clouds, have announced a strategic partnership to launch the world's first "Hybrid-Cloud" note-taking earbuds. By integrating Mobvoi’s TicNote Pods with the computational power of the Olares One workstation, the two companies are offering professionals something previously unavailable: a choice between cloud convenience and total data sovereignty.
Autonomous Productivity: The TicNote Pods
The centerpiece of this collaboration is the TicNote Pods, the world’s first 4G-enabled AI note-taking earbuds. Unlike typical wearables that require a tethered smartphone to function, these pods operate autonomously.
They are designed to capture high-fidelity audio and instant voice memos on the fly. Whether you are on a run or sitting in a meeting, the earbuds ensure that flashes of inspiration or critical action items are recorded and indexed in real time.
Privacy Meets Power: The Olares One Integration
While cloud-based AI is fast, many professionals handle sensitive information that requires a higher level of security. This is where the partnership with Olares becomes a game-changer.
Through a new "Local Mode," users can choose to process their data locally using Olares One. This high-performance on-device AI workstation is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 mobile GPU, ensuring that local processing, including multi-language translation and intelligent summarization—happens with the speed of a top-tier cloud server.
“We are giving professionals the freedom to choose how and where their AI processes work,” said Zhifei Li, Founder and CEO of Mobvoi. “Whether leveraging the cloud for speed or their own private setup for sensitive data, we are redefining productivity.”
A New Standard for AI Hardware
The integration utilizes Olares’ open-source Olares OS, which features iOS-style sandboxing and enterprise-grade security. This hybrid approach allows general tasks to be handled via Mobvoi’s public cloud while reserving highly confidential conversations for the private, local Olares ecosystem.
“The combination of TicNote Pods and Olares One is set to change the industry landscape,” added Peng Peng, Founder of Olares. “We are focused on helping professionals find the perfect balance between privacy and efficiency.”
Availability
Both the TicNote Pods and Olares One are currently seeing strong support through their respective Kickstarter campaigns. Early backers can expect these productivity-redefining devices to begin shipping in February 2026.
As AI continues to weave itself into the fabric of daily work, the Mobvoi and Olares partnership marks a significant step toward a future where "smart" devices are also "secure" devices.
