About Regal
Regal operates one of the largest and most geographically diverse theatre circuits in the United States. As of March 31, 2026, the company operates 5,386 screens in 394 theatres across 41 states, the District of Columbia, and Guam.
The chain focuses on delivering moviegoing experiences through premium large formats including 4DX, IMAX, RPX, and ScreenX. Regal also operates the only unlimited subscription program and offers enhanced food and beverage options.
The Musical Mayhem series represents Regal's ongoing strategy to drive attendance during traditionally slower periods by curating themed programming at accessible price points. The four dollar ninety-nine cent admission offers a significant discount from standard ticket prices while showcasing catalog titles that span multiple decades of filmmaking.
The May programming follows Regal's Legends of Laughs series in April, indicating a pattern of monthly themed events designed to attract audiences beyond new theatrical releases. The approach allows the chain to leverage its existing infrastructure while offering content that appeals to both nostalgic audiences and viewers discovering classic titles on the big screen for the first time.
