CJ 4DPLEX, the global leader in premium cinema formats and immersive theater technology, has announced a major milestone: Sony Pictures’ highly anticipated Spider‑Man: Brand New Day has been “Shot for ScreenX”, marking the first time the company has collaborated with filmmakers from on‑set production through theatrical exhibition to create content specifically for the ScreenX format.

ScreenX, known for its 270‑degree panoramic presentation, uses multi‑projection technology to extend select scenes onto the side walls of the auditorium, surrounding audiences with an expanded visual field that deepens immersion and enhances storytelling. The ScreenX version of Spider‑Man: Brand New Day is designed to bring fans deeper into the action, emotion, and scale of the story.
