Singer/Songwriter Sydney Irving continues her remarkable national debut with the release of her third music video, "Something Better."

Singer/songwriter Sydney Irving is solidifying her presence on the national stage. Fresh off the release of her acclaimed international debut album, Unfashioned Creatures, the 22-year-old artist has released her third music video for the standout track, "Something Better," a beautiful ballad that serves as a powerful statement of hope and promise for the future.

Released via DEKO Entertainment and distributed by Warner Music Group / ADA, the song arrives at a time of reflection, offering a heartfelt message about optimism for the incoming new year. While Irving confirms the song was not specifically written for the Christmas holiday, its themes of perseverance and looking forward make it a perfect fit for the season.

The Definitive Version of a Fan Favorite

"Something Better" has long been a favorite among Irving's devoted fan base, having been performed live for several years and released in earlier versions. Now, backed by her new label and her assembled five-piece touring band, The Creatures, Irving has delivered what she calls the "definitive version."

"I wrote 'Something Better' with my friend and co-producer, Steve Sopchak, about finding hope and optimism in the new year," Irving explained. "This song means so much to me and I am so excited for it to finally be out in the world."

The song and album are the culmination of an unstoppable work ethic that began when Irving was just 14, releasing her debut album, Hello Stranger. Her current album, Unfashioned Creatures, is a musical odyssey that speaks volumes for an emerging artist with a creative vision beyond her years. Irving wrote or co-wrote, co-produced, and arranged the album, even playing most of the guitar parts herself.

From Local Star to Global Roster

Irving’s journey to the national stage has been marked by recognition and rapid ascent. After building a solid fan base and achieving local radio airplay in her native Central New York region, she signed her worldwide record deal with DEKO Entertainment.

Her impressive talent has already earned her significant industry accolades, including the 2020 Young Adult Artist of the Year by The International Singer Songwriters Association and Best Pop Artist at the 2023 Mississippi Music Awards.

The team at DEKO Entertainment is highly enthusiastic about her trajectory. Charlie Calv, DEKO's Director of A&R, noted that Sydney was the "perfect fit" to expand their roster, while President Bruce Pucciarello praised her for using "the perfect blend of catchy well-crafted songs, polished performance, and heartfelt presentation to grow her ever expanding fanbase."

Following the fall release of Unfashioned Creatures, Sydney Irving and The Creatures are set to embark on a series of showcase performances around the country starting in January 2026, bringing their message of hope and an enlightened future directly to fans around the world.
