Travel + Leisure Co. Brings the Good Life to Your Phone with New Margaritaville Vacation Club App
HOSPITALITY

Travel + Leisure Co., today unveiled the latest addition to its growing mobile portfolio with the Margaritaville Vacation Club app.
If you've ever dreamed of sipping a frozen concoction on a sun-soaked beach with zero stress and zero friction, Travel + Leisure Co. just made that dream a little closer to reality. The Orlando-based leisure travel giant has launched the Margaritaville Vacation Club app, the newest addition to its rapidly expanding mobile portfolio, and it's designed to feel as laid-back as the brand itself.
Paradise in Your Pocket
The app gives Margaritaville Vacation Club members a seamless way to browse, personalize, and book resort stays, whether they're dreaming of island escapes in St. Thomas, poolside relaxation in Las Vegas, or a sunset dinner by the water. It joins the company's existing Club Wyndham and WorldMark apps, which together have already surpassed 435,000 total downloads. Those apps carry impressive App Store credentials too, Club Wyndham holds a 4.5-star rating and WorldMark a 4.7, placing Travel + Leisure Co. among the highest-rated mobile platforms in the vacation ownership industry.
This is the company's third branded app launched in just 17 months, a pace that signals a clear strategic bet on mobile-first vacation ownership. And with two more branded apps expected within the next year, the momentum shows no signs of slowing.
Smarter Planning, More Personal Trips
What sets the Margaritaville Vacation Club app apart isn't just convenience, it's intelligence. Two standout features power a more personalized booking experience. The first is Vacation Vibes, a proprietary discovery tool that lets members define their ideal getaway type, beach, mountain, family, city, or adults-only, and then uses a custom algorithm combined with their reservation history to surface tailored resort recommendations. The second is Date-First Search, a planning feature that reflects how modern travelers actually book: approximately 30% of reservations now start with dates rather than destinations, and the app is built to accommodate that shift.
More Than a Booking Engine
Travel + Leisure Co. is thinking beyond the reservation confirmation. The app is evolving into a full-service digital companion that stays useful from the moment a trip is booked through the final day of a stay. At participating resorts, members can browse on-site activities and experiences as soon as their trip is confirmed. At Limetree Beach Resort in St. Thomas, that means reserving rum tastings or Carnival-inspired paint-and-pour classes. In Hawaii, owners at Club Wyndham Bali Hai Villas can book beginner ukulele lessons or lei-making classes. The company also plans to expand into local and third-party experiences near its properties.
The Bigger Picture
The app launch reflects a broader shift in how vacation ownership works. As Chief Technology Officer Sy Esfahani put it, the goal is to transform what has traditionally been a complex booking process into one that "feels effortless," using technology to make every vacation feel more personal and connected to how owners want to travel.
For a company serving more than six million travelers a year across brands like Club Wyndham, WorldMark, Sports Illustrated Resorts, and Eddie Bauer Adventure Club, that vision is clearly taking shape, one app at a time.
